Amcor to demonstrate its versatility at Prod&Pack

Amcor will showcase its wide ranging capabilities at the Prod&Packexhibition in Lyon, France this November.

Amcor (NYSE: AMCR, ASX: AMC), a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, will showcase its wide ranging capabilities at the Prod&Packexhibition in Lyon, France this November, with examples from its product portfolio that help businesses to achieve their sustainability goals, boost sales and improve logistics efficiency.

Covering food, non-food and industrial markets, products on show include packs with recycled content, reusable solutions and UN-approved and RecyClass certified containers optimized for weight and stackability. Alongside these extensive standard ranges, Amcor will also highlight its technical design expertise and ability to develop customised packaging to meet specific marketing objectives and create brand differentiation. In addition, the company will present its CleanStream® technology that can produce post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic at scale for contact-sensitive applications.

“Prod&Pack gives visitors a unique perspective on solutions for the factory, covering everything from production to shipping,” said Isabelle Rival, area sales manager food, France, Amcor Rigid Packaging Solutions International. “It provides the ideal opportunity to demonstrate packaging’s vital role in the process and how our knowledge and expertise across numerous end-markets enable us to tailor solutions to individual customer requirements.”

Highlights on the Amcor stand (Hall 7, Stand 7-O42) include a variety of the company’s popular non-food and industrial containers available with up to 50% PCR plastic. These include the injection molded Paintainer®, SuperCube®, and SuperLift ranges, and the UN-approved SuperLift Extra and SuperFlex, which offer maximum pieces per pallet and are ideal for transporting products such as chemicals, hazardous materials, agricultural products and automotive fluids.

Containers made at Amcor’s La Gênete, France facility are RecyClass certified. This confirms the authenticity of their recyclability and the incorporation of recycled material, enabling companies to make valid sustainability claims on their packaging.

Among Amcor’s blow-molded recycled content industrial containers on display, the 20 and 25 liter Optimum containers can include 35% recycled material and are UN-approved for the transportation of hazardous goods in markets such as chemicals, agriculture, disinfection and automotive.

Alongside its capabilities in recycled content, Amcor will also showcase its reusable cup range, designed for both hot and cold drinks. Manufactured entirely in polypropylene, the cups feature elegant, lightweight designs that enhance the customer experience for both on-site consumption and takeaway. They offer businesses a customisable canvas to showcase their unique branding. The durable dishwasher-safe construction enables the cups to be used repeatedly, and when they reach the end of life, they can be recycled in a dedicated recycling stream in countries with the appropriate recycling infrastructure.

Prod&Pack takes place from 18th to 20th November at the Eurexpo, Lyon. The Amcor stand will include representatives from the Amcor France teams for Food, Beverage & Specialties and Blow Molding Specialties, alongside the company’s distributor for France, Emballages Europe Express.
