Replique opens Italian subsidiary for on-demand manufacturing

Replique expands its European operations with a Milan subsidiary. This strategic move enhances the company’s capability to deliver advanced manufacturing technologies, such as 3D printing, CNC, and injection moulding, to its growing customer base. The subsidiary aims to deepen ties with the Italian market, boosting efficiency and innovation.

Replique has launched a new subsidiary in Milan to bolster its capacity to serve its expanding European clientele. Replique Srl will act as a vital hub for deploying the company’s extensive range of manufacturing technologies — including 3D printing, CNC machining, and injection moulding.

“The foundation of Replique Srl is a strategic milestone in strengthening our platform’s position on a global stage,” stated Henrike Wonneberger, Co-Founder and COO of Replique. “With this step, we’re deepening our connection to the Italian market and enhancing our ability to support our customers in the region in realising spare parts and series applications quickly and cost-efficiently.”

Renato Marelli, Technical Sales Manager at Replique, commented from the new Italian office: “Italy’s rich industrial heritage and energy for innovation make this region a truly exciting frontier. By establishing our local presence, we strategically support Italian companies in bringing innovative manufacturing solutions to life.”

Qualified series production is emerging as a critical growth driver for Replique. The platform now handles an average of 100 parts per order — a fivefold increase over the previous year — serving diverse sectors, including rail, mechanical engineering, pharma, and healthcare. Series applications account for 65% of Replique’s business, alongside engineering services and one-off parts.

Replique’s network comprises over 350 qualified partners worldwide, covering all major manufacturing technologies, from 3D printing and CNC machining to casting, forging, and injection moulding. The company will showcase its capabilities at Formnext 2025 (Hall 12.1, Booth B95), demonstrating how it empowers industrial companies to stabilise supply chains, reduce costs, and achieve sustainable manufacturing.
