AMPYR Distributed Energy strengthens its team with key appointments. AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE), a prominent investor in onsite renewable energy solutions, has announced the expansion of its team with three strategic appointments. These new members bring extensive experience from the energy sector, poised to enhance ADE’s financial, project management, and operational proficiencies as it continues to drive the adoption of commercial solar energy in the UK and Europe.

Samuel Harvey joins ADE with over ten years of experience in energy investments across the UK, Europe, and the US. His previous role at Sustainable Development Capital involved originating, structuring, and executing transactions, as well as negotiating complex agreements such as SPAs, PPAs, EPC, and debt facilities. Harvey, a CFA® charterholder, is committed to developing bankable projects that deliver long-term value for investors.

Warren Christie, with over 12 years of expertise in leading data, systems, and process transformation within the energy and telecoms sectors, will focus on operational excellence at ADE. He has a track record of executing multi-million-pound programmes and guiding companies through significant mergers and regulatory challenges. Christie aims to combine strategic vision with technical skills to enhance efficiency, compliance, and sustainable growth.

Harry Lockwood, grounded in financial reporting and auditing, will support ADE’s financial operations by ensuring thorough reporting, compliance, and insightful financial analysis. His previous work in auditing clean energy projects has given him a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s financial and operational intricacies. Lockwood’s expertise spans IFRS and UK GAAP reporting, internal controls, and financial due diligence for projects involving wind, solar, and battery storage technologies.
