Charlie Bigham’s, a leader in premium ready meals, has launched its most ambitious collection yet: the Brasserie range. This exclusive line, available only in selected Waitrose stores, seeks to elevate home dining by offering a true “dining out, in” experience.
The Brasserie collection is designed to emulate the luxury of fine dining establishments, providing consumers with sophisticated dishes perfect for special occasions at home. Recent research by the brand highlights a significant trend: 86% of couples regard food as the essential component of a romantic evening, with nearly half preferring the comfort of home over dining out.
Founder Charlie Bigham stated, “Showstopping food doesn’t always have to mean going out. With the Brasserie range, you can have that same restaurant-quality experience at home — the kind of treat-worthy food you’ll want to take your time over and really enjoy together.”
The range includes classic and contemporary dishes, all handcrafted in small batches in their London kitchen. The launch menu features Beef Wellington (£29.95), Salmon Wellington (£19.95), Venison Bourguignon (£16.95), Coq au Vin (£16.95), and Duck Confit & Pommes Anna (£16.95).
This launch further strengthens Charlie Bigham’s longstanding partnership with Waitrose. Miriam Tellis, Head of Trading, Meal Solutions & Bakery at Waitrose, commented, “Almost 30 years ago, Waitrose was the first supermarket to stock Charlie Bigham’s meals. Since then, they have become firm favourites with our customers, and we’re incredibly excited to exclusively launch the new Charlie Bigham’s ‘Brasserie’ range in selected Waitrose shops and online from today.”
Tellis added that the premium range, crafted from high-quality ingredients, is anticipated to offer “a special dining experience in the comfort of your own home,” aligning with Waitrose’s commitment to providing top-tier meal solutions.
The Charlie Bigham’s Brasserie range is now available in selected Waitrose stores and online. This launch marks a pivotal moment in the premium ready meal sector, setting a new standard for restaurant-quality convenience.
