Telford based supplier has a handle on Truckman Tops

One of the UK’s best-known brands in the automotive aftermarket industry is Truckman, and the company’s new Truckman Classic hardtop for the Isuzu D-Max now features Vector T3 locking handles supplied by Swedish manufacturer Industrilas.

Truckmans’ 139,000 sq/ft manufacturing facility produces an extensive range of quality hardtops for pickup trucks made by leading brands including Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen and Isuzu and is the recommended fit by these OEMs. The Vector T3 locking handles for the pickup tops supplied by Industrilas are available in either stainless steel or zinc chrome-plated versions.

Truckman also offers bespoke pickup tops for private individuals and fleet users. In addition to the necessary durability required for the application, there was another important factor in the company’s decision to specify Vector T3 locking handles. Truckman offers its customers a choice of keyed-alike or keyed-to-differ access solutions when they buy tops for their pickups. Some customers choose the keyed-alike solution so that access to the bed area can be achieved as part of the vehicle’s central locking system, whereas others prefer to have separate keys for accessing or securing the pickup bed contents. Vector T3 handles from Industrilas can be specified to suit each preference, allowing Truckman to manufacture tops with either version as required.

Vector T3 is just one range in a significant portfolio of access hardware products offered by Industrilas. “Our range is amongst the most extensive available from a European manufacturer, covering hinges, handles, locks and latches manufactured to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. We’re also REACH and RoHS compliant,” said Barry George of Industrilas GB.
