What is LoRaWAN?
LoRaWAN is a long-range wide area network. This is a method of collecting and storing data over a long-range, from up to 10km away. It is easy to install and can be simply integrated into existing networks thanks to its plug-and-play ability. It wirelessly connects devices to the internet and manages communication between end-node devices and network gateways.
Why choose LoRaWAN?
LoRaWAN offers a simple solution for a long-range, low-powered method of collecting data. LoRaWAN transfers the data from the source and pushes it to a server which then is hosted in the cloud and can be accessed remotely. LoRaWAN is quickly becoming a widely used system as it offers an easily integrable solution for products that require remote reading. It is cost-effective and reduces maintenance costs thanks to its internal long-life battery, which currently lasts in excess of 5 years. LoRaWAN is easy to install and works over the LoRa network.
