Vertiv has expanded its CoolPhase Perimeter PAM range with new air-cooled systems, now available across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The latest additions, including the Vertiv CoolPhase Condenser, are engineered to deliver superior energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and operational resilience. These systems are designed to improve power usage effectiveness (PUE) and total cost of ownership (TCO), while extending system lifespan.
The Vertiv CoolPhase Perimeter PAM incorporates the highly efficient EconoPhase Pumped Refrigerant Economiser (PRE), which is seamlessly integrated into the Condenser system. This advanced technology enhances free-cooling and system reliability by utilising a pumped refrigerant circuit that consumes significantly less power than traditional compressors, offering a space-saving solution for data centres.
The range employs R-513A refrigerant, offering a 70% reduction in Global Warming Potential (GWP) compared to R-410A, and features non-flammability and low toxicity. This makes it fully compliant with the EU F-Gas Regulation 2024/573, appealing to operators aiming to reduce carbon emissions without sacrificing cooling performance.

The Vertiv CoolPhase Perimeter PAM range is equipped with variable speed compressors, staged coils, and patented filter technology, ensuring seamless integration with Vertiv CoolPhase Condenser units via Vertiv Liebert iCOM control. This holistic strategy enables intelligent optimisation of performance, efficiency, and flexibility.
