This is launching two alternative chicken products for Veganuary.

The brand’s new chilled ‘Isn’t Chicken Kyiv’, which is made from soya and fava protein and stuffed with wild garlic plant-based butter, will hit shelves on 1 January in Sainsbury’s at £4.95.

This’ frozen ‘Isn’t Chicken Wings ‘ will roll out on 6 January in Asda and 13 January in Morrisons stores at £3.75.

The wings have a seaweed-based crispy skin which mimics the texture and taste of traditional chicken wings, according to the brand, and are lower in saturated fat compared to its meat counterparts.

This CEO Mark Cuddigan said: “Whether you’re fully plant-based or just plant curious this Veganuary, get ready, because This changes everything.

“We’re always pushing the boundaries when it comes to plant-based food innovation and our new Kyiv and frozen wings give consumers meat-free options that don’t compromise on flavour or texture. It’s delicious, it’s nutritious, and it’s a step closer to a world where animals aren’t food.”
