Ultimo and XMReality team up to optimise remote support
Increasing the efficiency and safety of field maintenance jobs is the target of a new partnership between ‘Enterprise Asset Management’ software provider Ultimo and remote support platform XMReality.
Ultimo’s EAM software helps technical services and maintenance professionals gain better control over their assets and increase labour productivity.
Meanwhile XMReality’s platform allows operatives to connect with colleagues or external consultants, who can view what the operative sees on site and provide personal guidance as if they were by their side.
By joining forces it is hoped to enhance and simplify how on site maintenance tasks are executed using Ultimo, in order to improve efficiency and safety.
“XMReality makes remote field support easy, with no need to have experts physically visit the site,” commented Ultimo’s partner solution manager Patrick Beekman. “This saves time for asset intensive companies with a large mobile workforce.
“By connecting Ultimo with XMReality, executing a work order from Ultimo becomes even easier, helping customers optimise communication and improve the efficiency of their maintenance processes.”
