TRILUX launch new multi-use luminaire
The new award-winning TUGRA luminaire from TRILUX adds a new retro aesthetic to a wide variety of workspaces.
They say design goes in cycles, which is certainly the case regarding TRILUX’s new linear surface and suspended luminaire. Reminiscent of the fluorescent tube, the TUGRA luminaire’s distinct design scores points when others are boring.
Having already secured awards from Red Dot, IF, and the German Innovations Award, the design departure is already paying off.
In one luminaire, TRILUX has combined a high protection rating with equally high good looks. With its cylindrical shape and distinctive end caps, TUGRA brings a new level of design to demanding applications such as car parks, warehouses, and production facilities.
An IP66 and IK10 protection ensure continued safe operation, with an IP69K variant to meet high industry standards and HACCP requirements for the food industry.
Particularly attractive as a light line, the modern luminaire design also enhances the functional industrial architecture of contemporary work areas.
This new addition to the TRILUX portfolio is efficient, durable, and economically attractive. With up to 189 lm/W and a service life of up to 100,000 h, energy bills stay low for longer.
It also delivers in performance. Outstanding quality of light is achieved with the TRILUX Varizon optic kit presenting five primary optics, a prismatic profile and various prismatic foils. What’s more, you can expect ultimate comfort with glare-free work screens (UGR19 variant).
The range is easy to apply in any situation, from IoT modules and integrated light management, to its clever cable channel, versatile mounting options and various colour options.
Helping to move the industry further towards circularity, TRILUX has designed TUGRA to offer specifiers three viable R strategies: Reuse, Refurbish and Recycle. The luminaire design enables the LED boards and driver to be easily accessed and removed, ready for an upgrade. Alternatively, with the range being so versatile for use in different spaces, the luminaire can be repurposed in multiple applications after initial use. Lastly, at the end inevitable end of life – albeit prolonged – TUGRA is designed for quick disassembly with no glued parts to support the recovery of raw materials.
