The 10th Annual IoTSF Conference to Focus on the Past, Present and Future of IoT Security
The IoT Security Foundation (IoTSF) is proud to announce the 10th Annual IoT Security Foundation Conference, the world’s most impactful and longest-running conference dedicated to IoT cybersecurity. Taking place on October 23rd at the IET in London, this year’s event will explore the Past, Present, and Future of IoT Security.
Known for its longevity, global reach, and high-quality programs, the conference has garnered a loyal following from IoT stakeholders globally and as the leading conference, it is highly respected across the industry for addressing the most pressing challenges in regulation, AI, and emerging technologies.
The 10th annual edition will include 10 expert sessions with over 40 speakers bringing together the brightest minds in IoT, offering participants invaluable knowledge, networking opportunities, and access to cutting-edge solutions to protect and secure the future of connected devices.
Advances in quantum computing and the democratisation of AI/ML in recent years have added more threats yet have also given us more tools to use in our defences. New approaches such as zero trust and continuous assurance processes continue to evolve but getting the basics right continues to be a trusted staple which is why the focus for the conference this year is Past, Present and Future.
The conference will showcase insights from global thought leaders, including experts from the US, Europe, and Australia, emphasising the international collaboration to enhance IoT security. Key topics will include the business and financial dynamics of securing IoT ecosystems, the extensive challenges posed by memory hacking, and industry-wide best practices.
John Moor, Co-Founder and Managing Director of the IoT Security Foundation commented, “The Internet of Things and the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence present huge opportunities for the global economy and society. However, in the wrong hands, these technologies – tools for good – can become weapons and used against us. This year’s conference highlights advances with IoT security and also the importance of getting the foundations right to ensure we are prepared for future threats.”
The IoTSF is hosted by TechWorks which is also home to a growing family of advanced engineering and innovation networks including cybersecurity (IoTSF), artificial intelligence (TechWorks AI), semiconductors (NMI and techNES) and automotive electronics innovation (AESIN). Established in 1996, it has been at the core of the UK deep tech community with the ambition to harness the country’s world-class innovation capabilities and develop its position as a global technology super-power.
Charles Sturman, CEO of TechWorks commented, “The IoTSF conference is the most important annual event for the IoT community and has a reputation for always delivering high-quality programmes and this trend is set to continue this year. The agenda has a compelling line-up of speakers who will bring their expertise to the forefront of this year’s conference, and we are looking forward to seeing you there.”
