TAD Electronics expands to include mobile app development

TAD Electronics has expanded with Bluebrick Studios acquisition. This strategic move enhances TAD’s capabilities, allowing it to provide comprehensive electronics manufacturing services. Customers benefit from integrated hardware and software solutions, including advanced mobile app development, streamlining processes from conception to market delivery.

TAD Electronics has announced the acquisition of Bluebrick Studios, expanding its expertise in hardware, firmware, and software by incorporating mobile app development into its service offerings. This strategic integration positions TAD to deliver a complete electronics manufacturing solution from a single supplier, enhancing value for its clients.

TAD, known for its low-to-no maintenance electronics designed for remote and mission-critical applications, now offers an enriched portfolio. Rob White, Head of Engineering at TAD, highlighted the importance of this development: “Bespoke-designed electronics rely on various factors to perform in real-world environments. Our engineers can transform complex requirements into reliable telemetry or control systems, but any system necessitates human interaction. Bluebrick’s developers, now part of TAD, can support this need.”

The acquisition allows TAD to provide custom-designed human-machine interfaces (HMIs) with graphical user interfaces (GUIs), converting complex data into user-friendly instructions. These systems range from touchscreens and buttons to mobile apps, facilitating a more intuitive user experience.

For system integration clients, owning Bluebrick means TAD can now offer a full end-to-end service that is both faster and more cost-effective. This support extends from the initial concept through to production and integration into the customer’s environment. For end-users, TAD can supply electronics solutions with the necessary digital interfaces, whether new websites, multilingual apps, or simple user controls.

Rob White concluded, “When electronics are designed with the operator in mind, customers report improved efficiency and reliability. Bluebrick Studios brings over 25 years of experience in website, app, and HMI development, focusing on a user-first experience.”

TAD Electronics provides a complete electronics design and free prototyping service, including sustainable component selection, renewable energy integration, and low-power communication protocols. For more information, visit TAD Electronics’ website.
