Netmore Group, a network operator for Massive IoT, has acquired Spain-based Arson Metering, which specialises in advanced remote reading technologies for water and gas supply networks.

According to Netmore in a release, the strategic acquisition strengthens their position in modernising utility operations and expands their footprint in Europe, where Arson Metering has a strong presence.

Arson Metering, a Spanish innovator in remote meter reading and smart management of water and gas networks, has deployments across more than 200 municipalities in Spain, Italy, France, and Greece. The company manages over 500,000 water and gas meters and has a backlog of approximately 350,000 meters.

According to Netmore, the company’s expertise in AMI and its advanced Meter Operations Centre support its ability to deliver against strict service levels required by utilities to meet regulatory and environmental goals.
