Smarter Reflow Starts Here: BTU Brings the Aurora 175N to NEPCON China 2025
BTU International, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the electronics manufacturing market, will feature its next-generation Aurora 175N reflow oven in Booth 1E50 at NEPCON China 2025, taking place April 24–26 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.
As part of BTU’s Aurora platform, the 175N model delivers exceptional thermal uniformity, advanced process control, and intelligent power-saving capabilities, all in a compact, configurable footprint. The system is built to meet the demands of today’s high-throughput, high-reliability manufacturing environments, and is ideal for applications in automotive, telecom, and advanced consumer electronics.
Designed with efficiency and ease of use in mind, the Aurora 175N incorporates BTU’s proprietary Aqua Scrub™ flux management system, a fully automatic, water-based solution that keeps the oven atmosphere clean while reducing manual maintenance. The oven also features Smart Power and Energy Pilot software, which automatically adjusts energy consumption during idle time and optimizes recovery for seamless production ramp-up.
The Aurora’s advanced control system, Wincon 8, provides users with a modern, SEMI E95-style interface and seamless integration with factory MES platforms. Operators benefit from real-time process monitoring, SMS/email alerts, and intuitive tools for recipe management and traceability. With support for dual-lane, dual-speed conveyors, and configurable heating and cooling zones, the Aurora 175N delivers both performance and flexibility—making it a future-ready solution for manufacturers embracing Industry 4.0.
“The Aurora 175N isn’t just an evolution of reflow—it’s a strategic tool for smart factories focused on efficiency, consistency, and ROI,” said Rob DiMatteo, Vice President & General Manager of BTU International. “We’re proud to bring this powerful platform to NEPCON China and demonstrate how it can transform modern electronics assembly.”
