Saelig introduces ultra small Impact-P 100D for Edge computing in harsh environments
Saelig Company has introduced the Amplicon Impact-P 100D series of ultra small form factor IoT edge-ready embedded computers, utilising the advanced, high-performance Intel Atom x5-E3930 Apollo Lake processors. Designed for industrial, wide operating temperature range applications, the fanless Impact-P 100D series offers intense media processing and other capabilities, making it a good choice for applications with demanding connectivity and computing power when space is at a premium.
Powered by external 12V, its impressive connectivity features include options for multiple Ethernet, Serial, USB, 4K media display ports and more. Due to its carbon fiber composite and aluminum construction, these units are tough and lightweight, allowing them to be mounted almost anywhere. These PCs can operate up to 3 independent displays with real-time video analytics, providing powerful and efficient solutions for media-rich applications. Enhanced data and operations protection are provided for challenging environments, such as retail transactions and manufacturing floors. This deep layer of protection keeps hackers away from confidential data even when the OS is compromised.
The low power IoT Edge-ready Impact-P 101D is a DIN-rail mountable embedded system that features a 3 year warranty and a guaranteed 15 year life cycle. Supported operating systems include Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (64-bit) and Linux.
