RTI at the Vehicle Electronics & Connected Services (VECS) 2024 in Gothenburg, Sweden: Hall C01, 24
Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the infrastructure software company for smart world systems, will be exhibiting at Vehicle Electronics & Connected Services (VECS) in Gothenburg/Sweden in Hall C01, booth 24 (May 14/15, 2024). The focus will be on the RTI Connext Drive 3.0 connectivity framework for software-defined vehicles (SDVs). It has been certified according to ISO 26262 ASIL D and closes the platform gap between DDS, AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and ROS 2.
Connext Drive 3.0 has already proven itself in practice as the underlying software framework for production vehicles. Automobile manufacturers use Connext Drive for the development and operation of modern electrical/electronic architectures (E/E), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and teleoperation systems. This agile, data-centric integration framework for fast, extensible communication enables future-proof design. It manages real-time teleoperations, fleet management and telematics in a single framework. Connext Drive is the first data-centric software framework with functional safety certification: thanks to ISO 26262 ASIL D certification, OEMs can be confident that this communication framework is suitable for safety-critical applications.
At VECS, RTI’s automotive experts will discuss how Connext Drive is the only software framework that covers the entire spectrum of automotive ecosystems – including AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and ROS2 – offering architects and system engineer’s maximum flexibility in the development of their full-stack solution. Connext Drive is based on the DDS standard and is integrated with the software and hardware required by automotive suppliers.
Tobias Fieger, Global Business Development Manager Automotive at RTI will speak at the conference on “AI’s Impact on Automotive SW Development” – 15 May at 15:30, Track F – Software Development & Digitalization.
