Proseal, an industry leader in tray sealing technology by JBT Marel, has launched its latest innovation: the XTP Automatic Tray Sealer for medium-sized production facilities across markets including convenience foods, ready-to-eat meals, produce, poultry, fish and red meat.

“Efficiency and flexibility are paramount in today’s competitive landscape, and the XTP delivers on both fronts. Its comprehensive seal process capabilities and lightning-fast changeovers mean customers can effortlessly adapt to diverse packaging needs, ensuring continuous, agile production,” said manager, product engineering Paul Watkin. “This isn’t just a machine; it’s a strategic investment designed to boost capacity and keep our customers ahead.”

It is engineered to handle all seal process types, including atmospheric, gas flush, vacuum/gas, and skin pack, ensuring production lines can adapt to various packaging. Its quick tool set changes make modifying the sealing process simple, while remote connectivity for diagnostics minimises disruptions. These features, combined with advanced capabilities like airless sealing operations, electric actuators, and high throughput of up to 40 packages per minute for atmospheric seal and 30 for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), make the XTP an ideal solution for facilities seeking to boost efficiency and maintain flexibility.
