Prodigy relaunches new healthier free from biscuit range
Prodigy is introducing its rebranded Phenomenoms biscuit range, with a new eye-catching design, to highlight the nutrient-rich summer snack to on the go sector.
Phenomenoms biscuits are healthier reinventions of two much-loved classic biscuits.
Prodigy’s Chocolate Oaties have a thin and crumbly biscuit base, with a touch of salt covered in smooth, single origin, cacao-rich chocolate, packed with antioxidants and added fibre-rich oats. The Chocolate Digestives feature a thin, wheat-free digestive biscuit base, covered in smooth single origin, cacao-rich chocolate, with a crunchy and crumbly texture making them perfect for dunking.
Both biscuit ranges are sugar slump-free with a low natural sugar content, as well as vegan and gluten free.
Prodigy’s Phenomenoms chocolate biscuits contain 100% natural ingredients and just 4.6g of natural sugar. They are also plant-based, and contain a high percentage of prebiotic fibre (3.5g), to support gut health.
Inspired by the lack of healthy or sustainable snacks available on supermarket shelves, founders Neena and Sameer Vaswani launched Prodigy in 2020 with the idea of conscious snacking. Palm oil free and wrapped in compostable and biodegradable packaging, Prodigy says it is the UK’s first plastic negative chocolate brand, with real chocolate.
Each pack of Phenomenoms biscuits purchased funds the removal of five ocean bound plastic wrappers from the environment.
Since its launch, the B Corp brand has had a positive impact on the environment, removing over 13m plastic wrappers from the environment and offsetting over 300 tons of CO2 alongside Climate PartnerClimate Partner
Prodigy’s new range of Phenomenoms biscuits is available in Chocolate Oatie Biscuits and Chocolate Digestives, priced at £8.49 for 12 snack-size packs. The confectionery brand also offers a collection of plant-based chocolate, available as single-serve bars (priced at £9.95 for six). Flavours include: Salted Caramel, Creamy Coconut, Dark & Sea Salt, Orange & Baobab, Roasted Hazelnut, Creamy Smooth and Peanut & Caramel.
