Power-Zero has launched significant updates to its Power-Zero Optimise Portal, a platform designed to deliver continuous updates and crucial insights to its users. This enhanced interface provides comprehensive system data, aiding businesses in meeting ESG reporting requirements and optimising energy consumption.
The updated portal now includes features such as generation forecasting, allowing companies to adjust production schedules or charge vehicles during optimal periods. A live electrical carbon view enables users to monitor site carbon usage in real-time. Additionally, users can track carbon avoided over time and access Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) on a live and historical basis.
Users can also benefit from historical data tracking, holding their systems accountable and identifying any discrepancies. Alerts are triggered by inverter data to notify users of any issues immediately.
Denby Pottery, based in Derbyshire, highlighted the portal’s efficacy, having achieved 900 carbon-free hours between April and August this year. This achievement accounts for 37.9% of the total daylight hours during this period, reflecting Denby’s commitment to sustainability through its partnership with Power-Zero.
Simon Mitchell, Commercial Director at Power-Zero, stated, “We’re excited to be updating and evolving our Optimise Portal to help improve trust and transparency for our customers, as well as giving them access to historical data and generation forecasting. As two-thirds of businesses now worry about rising energy costs, Power-Zero is well placed to help alleviate concerns by helping companies to deliver clean, renewable energy in a cost-effective manner by developing robust onsite solutions through a PPA.”
