Panasonic Industry Europe is set to unveil its latest innovations at embedded world 2026, scheduled from 10 to 12 March in Nuremberg, Germany. The event will feature Panasonic’s advanced solutions for IoT, industrial automation, smart homes, smart factories, HVAC systems, and more, at Hall 4A, Stand 103.
A key highlight is the Grid-EYE thermopile sensor, showcasing far-infrared sensitivity-enhancement technology through a phononic crystal structure. This sensor provides 5,120 pixels (80 × 64), delivering significantly higher-resolution thermal imaging. Its application in temperature mapping and human detection promises to enhance designs and efficiency across various smart applications.
Debuting in Europe, the FineX transparent conductive film addresses electromagnetic wave shielding needs. This metal mesh film achieves high transmissivity and low resistance, offering excellent shielding performance across a wide frequency range. Its unique design allows for easy shaping and bending, making it versatile for numerous applications.
Additional highlights include the Flat Wide Detection Type PaPIRs(+) motion sensor, which integrates seamlessly into aesthetically demanding environments with its discreet flat lens and wide field of view. The PAN W602 module supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, facilitating rapid development for dual-band wireless products. The PAN-MaX Service, including the PAN B611 module, enables manufacturers to create Matter-certified devices efficiently.
Panasonic will also present Amorton solar cells, known for their low-light performance and customizability, alongside Panasonic Energy batteries, designed for reliability in extreme climates.
Alketa Vaso, Head of Marketing at Panasonic Industry Europe, expressed enthusiasm for the event: “We are excited to showcase a diverse range of component technologies. Our focus remains on energy efficiency, sustainability, and surpassing customer expectations. The embedded world is crucial for meeting the embedded community, including experts and industry leaders.”
Interactive application displays will allow visitors to experience Panasonic’s technologies firsthand, with technical experts on hand to discuss potential advancements for customer products. Panel talks with Nordic, Digicert, and DEKRA will further explore smart home and manufacturing developments.
