OKW CONNECT enclosures now include integrated cable glands

OKW introduces CONNECT enclosures with integrated cable glands. The new CONNECT enclosures simplify cable installation, offering fast assembly with snap-fit design and optional integrated cable glands. Ideal for various sectors including IoT, medical devices, and safety engineering, they are available in multiple sizes and colours, providing flexibility and customisation.

OKW has unveiled its new CONNECT range of handheld plastic enclosures, featuring optional integrated cable glands to streamline the installation of power and data cables. The CONNECT enclosures are designed for rapid assembly, with two case shells that snap together without the need for screws. This innovation offers two front options: a convex shell suitable for LEDs, and a flat, recessed shell for displays or membrane keypads. Inside, the flat shell includes mounting pillars for PCBs and other components.

Each CONNECT enclosure comes with open apertures at the ends, where design engineers can incorporate ASA+PC blank end panels and soft-touch TPE cable glands with integrated strain relief. The glands accommodate cable diameters from 3.4 mm to 5.9 mm, while the long sides of the enclosures provide space for USB connectors.

Constructed from UV-stable ASA+PC (UL 94 V-0) material, the enclosures are available in six sizes ranging from 60 x 42 x 22 mm to 156 x 54 x 22 mm. Standard colour options include off-white (RAL 9002) and black (RAL 9005), with custom colours available upon request. Accessories offered include wall holders, rail clamps for tubes up to ø 32 mm, and self-tapping screws.

OKW provides full customisation services for CONNECT enclosures, including machining, lacquering, printing, laser marking, decor foils, EMC shielding, and the installation and assembly of accessories. Further information can be found on the OKW website.
