New partnership to improve resilience and sustainability of data centres
Enchanted Rock, which provides electrical resiliency-as-a-service, has become a foundation partner with Infrastructure Masons (iMasons), a non-profit professional association for the digital infrastructure industry.
The partnership sees Enchanted Rock dedicating time and resources to iMason’s 3000+ professional member community to enhance data centres’ resilience and sustainability.
Most data centres rely on diesel generators for back-up power. However, natural gas and renewable natural gas microgrids offer a cleaner, affordable alternative and simultaneously meet the technical requirements for data centre uptime.

Enchanted Rock’s resiliency solutions aim to add to growing efforts by the industry to reduce emissions without sacrificing system reliability.
“We know that ensuring the sustainability, reliability and diversity of our digital infrastructure will require strong collaboration between leaders in the field,” stated Enchanted Rock in a press release. “Enchanted Rock is excited to contribute our vision for a more resilient, net-zero carbon and sustainable pathway for data centres, and to partner with our colleagues to achieve our common goals.”
The partnership sees Enchanted Rock joining as the newest foundation partner alongside 35 other technological companies. The collaboration also hopes to support their mission to provide infrastructure executives and technical professionals an independent forum to connect, grow and give back to the community.
“We are delighted that Enchanted Rock has joined iMasons through our Foundation Partner programme,” shares Jeff Omelchuck, Infrastructure Masons’ Executive Director. “We look forward to their contributions in our pursuit of advancement of the industry, peer development, and social impact.”
