Mondi wins nine WorldStar packaging awards

Mondi wins nine WorldStar Packaging Awards for 2026. The global leader in sustainable packaging and paper secured recognition for innovations that enhance sustainability and performance. The awards celebrate Mondi’s commitment to replacing less sustainable materials, supporting recyclability, and addressing diverse end-use needs across industries.

Mondi, a renowned name in sustainable packaging and paper, has achieved significant recognition by securing nine WorldStar Packaging Awards for 2026. The awards, organised annually by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), honour exceptional contributions to packaging design, technology, and sustainability worldwide.

The award-winning solutions from Mondi underscore the company’s strategic focus on developing packaging that replaces less sustainable materials, enhances recyclability, and delivers superior performance. The recognised innovations cater to various sectors, including food, beverages, and e-commerce, promoting a more circular economy.

Andrew King, CEO of Mondi Group, expressed pride in the accolade: “We are very proud that nine of our solutions have been recognised with WorldStar Packaging Awards in 2026. These awards highlight our teams’ ability to combine innovation, performance, and sustainability, and to translate ambitious goals into practical packaging solutions. They reflect our strong customer partnerships and our continued commitment to developing recyclable alternatives at scale.”

The WorldStar Packaging Awards are among the most prestigious in the global packaging industry, recognising innovations that address critical challenges such as material efficiency, recyclability, and product protection. Mondi’s success this year reinforces its status as a trusted partner in sustainable packaging solutions globally.
