Milliways Plastic Free Gum launches a brand-new spearmint taste in the UK

With the launch of its brand-new Spearmint flavour in early 2025, Milliways is giving the phrase “fresh start” a whole new meaning.

Already the fastest-growing gum brand in the UK and with successful launches in the USA and France under its belt, Milliways will further entrench itself as a customer favourite with the launch of Spearmint, available in a 10-piece and economical 30-piece pack.

The best-selling flavour has long been a favourite for customers across the world and Milliways’ plant-powered spearmint was an immediate hit in both of its international markets. Now it is joining Milliways’ existing UK stable of Mighty Mint, Peppermint, Watermelon and Bubblemint,
offering a long-lasting, fresh and sweet mint that packs a more-ish punch.

Since its inception, Milliways has been on a mission to reduce the amount of plastic going into our environment, intending to replace the 365 billion pieces of gum that get chewed annually with a flavour-bursting, plastic-free alternative. The release follows on from its global expansion and 30 piece MEGA PACK launch as it establishes itself as a market leader with a commitment to choice, sustainability and high-quality ingredients.

To coincide with the release, Milliways has created an experiential ‘Fresh Start’ gift box that taps into the five senses and includes a custom-made Spearmint candle, giving major celebrities, influencers and key retailers a chance to taste, smell, touch, see and even listen to the freshest minty notes.

The new flavour is now available nationwide and can be purchased from retailers like Sainsbury’s, WH Smith, Amazon and the Milliways website.
