Look out for the premiere of UKIVAs Vision Integrator Standard at the Machine Vision Conference
The countdown is on for the eagerly anticipated Machine Vision Conference which opens the doors at the Coventry’s CBS Arena on 18 June 2024. The two-day event is expected to attract over a thousand of visitors from a range of businesses across the UK and further afield.
The UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA), MVC organisers, are thrilled to unveil Laurie Barnes, chief technology officer at Automate UK, as this year’s featured speaker. He will be introducing UKIVA’s very first Vision Integrator Standard.
Laurie Barnes has over 25 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry with roles spanning from machine build, programming and motion control to commissioning, applications and contracting. His background means he is ideally placed to be able to share his experiences about a broad range of topics from the perspective of a product user, supplier and contractor.
The new Vision Integrator Standard has been developed to help system integrators (SIs) stand out from their competitors, win more business and improve the overall standard of Sis in the UK. The standard is open to UKIVA members and the wider UK vision industry. It sets out areas that UKIVA considers as being vital for all integrators who operate within this competitive industry. The standard is seen as a further benefit to the portfolio of member benefits that already exist. This will be an additional attraction for end-users of vision equipment to visit UKIVA’s website to aid them in their selection of their next vision integrator.
