LM customises production line for wafer supplier
LM, leader company for almost 50 years in the connection supply system between packaging and processing machineries, has recently installed distribution equipment for a leader wafer company in Turkey.
The equipment was composed by a series of small belt conveyors that need to handle wafers in raw form and redirect them to flowpack machines.
The sale is an exception for the group, whose focus is to deal with distributors of packaging machines. In this particular case, the customer’s request was to create a series of conveyors that would handle the products (wafer and chocolate bars) from the process unit until they reached two packaging machines previously installed and already present on site.
After in-depth design analysis and different customisation actions were issued, technicians were sent on-site to take all the necessary measures for customisation of the line. Thanks to this tailor-made solution, the customer increased production without affecting the quality of the product, maintaining the wafer’s properties and internal schedule.
Michele Franzoni, CEO of LM, said the recent sale in Turkey, plus another in Liguria, represent tangible evidence of the company’s “flexibility and competence” in providing tailor-made solutions according to specific customer needs.
