Robotics in Japan: Leoni and K.K. IRISU enter into new partnership
Leoni, global solution provider for energy and data management in automotive and other industries, has appointed K.K. IRISU, a new exclusive distribution partner in Japan to further consistently expand its robotics business with Japanese automotive OEMs, TIERs and robot manufacturers.

K.K. IRISU (C. Illies & Co. LTD.) is the oldest German company in Japan with branches in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, representing more than 100 suppliers from Germany and Europe in Japan since 1859.
For several years, Leoni’s Robotic Solutions business unit has been offering a comprehensive range of products and services for the Japanese robotics market in the industrial environment. In addition to robot function packages ready for integration, the portfolio in the systems business also includes intelligent solutions for robot guidance using various sensor solutions, component identification, fault detection and assembly verification.
Leoni is pursuing the goal of working together with K.K. IRISU to create great added value for Japanese customers and the basis for joint further growth by being close to the customer on site.
