Saudi Arabia is advancing its economic diversification efforts by commissioning JetMix systems from Landia for new Water Recycling and Recovery Plants. These plants will support a northern megaproject, serving approximately one million residents. The facilities are engineered to recycle entire wastewater outputs, extracting cellulose, nutrients, grit, and biogas. Additionally, seasonal stormwater runoff will be managed through wetlands and other retention methods, returning water to the land.
The Landia JetMix, installed at optimal levels, employs venturi nozzles to ensure even recirculation of wastewater across multiple tanks. This system prevents the accumulation of solids on vessel bases and offers the flexibility for targeted mixing when necessary.

The initiative is a significant move in Saudi Arabia’s strategy to reduce its oil dependency while addressing water scarcity issues through advanced recycling technologies. As the Kingdom continues to invest in sustainable infrastructure, the focus on water management is poised to expand, driven by increasing urbanisation and environmental concerns.
