König and Abendschön collaborate to develop automation solutions for commercial and industrial bakeries
A strategic relationship has begun between König, a global manufacturer of baking machines, and Abendschön, a well-known manufacturer of bakery automation. The partnership’s goal is to work together to create cutting-edge automation solutions for commercial and industrial bakeries, raising the bar for productivity, adaptability, and product quality.
Under the title, “Next-level Automation – an Abendschön and König Cooperation”, the König Group combines its many years of experience in the manufacture of high-quality bakery machines with Abendschön’s technical expertise in the field of intelligent automation and robotics to form an innovative cooperation.
“This partnership offers future-proof solutions to automate our customers’ processes even better”, says Hannes Stelzer, CEO of the König Gruppe.
Managing director Christian Abendschön is delighted about the cooperation adds: “In Koenig, we have found a partner who shares our vision of automated bakery processes. This cooperation will bring great added value to the industry.”
At iba 2025 in Düsseldorf, Abendschön and König will be presenting their joint solutions in the areas of scoring, tray handling and lye application for the first time at the König Group stand (hall 12 | stand D.21 and E.21).
According to the companies, the recently launched cooperation is already showing promising results with initial customer projects described as running successfully and confirming the great potential of the collaboration.
