Keyence UK to showcase latest microscopes

On stand A200 at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics, visitors will be able to see the latest models developed by Keyence UK, including the latest iterations of its metrology systems, the IM and LM series. These models offer accuracy, repeatability and speed for verifying up to 300-part features in a matter of seconds. The IM series is equipped with a high-resolution 20Mpixel CMOS sensor and three times the detection performance compared to conventional systems. These credentials mean it can substantially reduce measurement time and eradicate defective parts, according to the company.

Another model, the VHX-7000, is claimed to offer the highest resolution in the history of digital microscopes. It has an intuitive interface and advanced features such as optical shadow effect mode, one push calibration, automatic report generation and hand-held observation mode. It delivers images rivalling that of a SEM (scanning electron microscope) and can be used to carry out contamination analysis, 2D or 3D measurement and grain structure analysis.
