Kerrygold brings a sweet experience to breakfast

In an effort to enhance breakfast dishes, Kerrygold has introduced Kerrygold Sweet Spreadables range, a first for the UK market.
Kerrygold is set to bring a sweet touch to the table with the roll out of its new Sweet Spreadables range.
The product comes in three options including Salted Caramel, Maple Syrup & Cinnamon and Maple Syrup, which are targeted towards use on waffles, pancakes and crumpets, respectively.
The line-up of sweet, spreadable butters marks a UK category first, according to parent firm Ornua Foods, with a selection of three extra indulgent butter spreads that have been designed to elevate breakfast time with new and exciting flavours.
Available in Tesco stores from March, the new range comes in 150g tub with an RRP of £2.95 each. While the new butter spreads will see an exclusive stint in the supermarket’s stores from March, Ornua plant further roll outs later in the year.
Each variant features Kerrygold’s naturally golden and creamy butter and blended with natural flavours and rapeseed oil as the brand aims to meet the consumer desire to expand the options at breakfast time by bringing a little bit of café culture into the home.
Nicola Blackmore-Squires, marketing director at Ornua Foods UK, said the brand is incredibly excited to launch the first sweet, spreadable butter range in the UK market.
“Kerrygold Sweet Spreadable provides consumers with an exciting, tasty and convenient way of bringing breakfast to life, whether that be by using them to create café culture experiences at home or transforming their old favourites,” Blackmore-Squires noted. “Our mission is to transform the butter category from being functionally driven to one that inspires and elevates simple pleasures.
“With the arrival of Kerrygold Sweet Spreadables, we are tapping into the key trends within the butter category to appeal to the growing number of pleasure-seeking consumers that are looking for new food and taste experiences.
“All the while delivering the attributes of quality, provenance and great taste that Kerrygold is known for.”
