IPL Packaging has earned Gold Certification from Ecovadis – the trusted global leader in sustainability assessment.

The certification underscores the deep commitment that IPL makes to responsible and sustainable package manufacturing.

“Beyond a claim to sustainable practices, IPL pursues the accountability of a third party certification in Ecovadis,” said Glen Broomberg, head of global business development. “Of the 130,000 companies certified, the 97th percentile certification means our customers can trust that our sourcing, manufacturing and design will meet global standards”

Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 130,000+ rated companies. The goal is to envision a global marketplace where sustainability intelligence influences every business decision – improving economies, people’s lives and the planet we all depend on.

The Ecovadis Gold Certification is on the heels of IPL Packaging renewing its partnership with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) for 2025. As one of the nearly 1,200 international members across 89 countries, IPL continued their commitment to FSC and responsible manufacturing into the future.

IPL takes packaging personally. The philosophy presents the opportunity for a cooperative investment in design that represents collaboration, trust, and expertise. Today, secondary packaging design must factor in a mix of materials resulting in novel design concepts. Those materials matter to IPL. Tubes, rigid board, acrylic or moulded features are unique and beautiful features that elevate brand stories and experiences. Moreover, the company takes the extra measures necessary to ensure those materials conform to global standards like Ecovadis and Forest Stewardship Council.

Through the proven, partnership-driven process, IPL’s success in the United States is an extension of its spirits packaging success in Europe and Asia with major manufacturers including, LVMH, Edrington, and numerous independent suppliers.
