Integrated snack lines take focus for TNA in Dubai

TNA Solutions will demonstrate integrated production lines at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025. The company aims to show how a fully synchronised approach to seasoning, distribution, and packaging can reduce costs, downtime, and environmental footprint while accelerating product development.

TNA Solutions will spotlight its full snack and confectionery line capabilities at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 (Stand A4-4, Hall 4), taking place from 4–6 November in Dubai, UAE. The Australia-headquartered company, a global name in food processing and packaging systems, plans to show how integrated production lines can help regional producers streamline operations and respond faster to shifting consumer tastes.

The company’s stand will include live demonstrations of the tna robag 3e vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) system, capable of producing up to 250 bags per minute with waste levels as low as 0.1%. The high-speed packaging unit is designed to support both large-scale and flexible production environments, reducing total cost of ownership by minimising film use and maintenance requirements.

Also featured will be the tna intelli-flav OMS 5.1 on-machine seasoning system. The machine uses mass-based gravimetric control to apply precise quantities of dry, wet, or slurry coatings in a single drum, supported by integrated monitoring software for rapid recipe changes and consistent output. The combination of automated controls and flexible formats is positioned as a way for brands to manage shorter runs and expand their flavour portfolios without costly downtime.

“Snacks and confectionery markets are booming in the MEA region, with consumers looking for variety and premium appeal,” said Palani Karai, General Manager – TNA Solutions, MENA. “At the same time, producers are under pressure to manage more SKUs, shorter runs, and rapid changeovers — often with fewer staff. Meeting these challenges requires more than machinery. It demands a partner with global knowledge, local expertise, and accountability for every stage of the line. That’s where TNA Solutions comes in.”

According to the company, the benefits of full-line integration extend beyond speed and flexibility. By synchronising distribution, seasoning, and packaging, TNA says producers can maximise output with fewer standalone machines, improve labour efficiency through unified controls, and reduce waste via precise product handling.

The emphasis on automation and scalability aligns with wider regional trends in food manufacturing. As demand for snack and confectionery products grows across the Middle East and Africa, processors are investing in modular systems that can accommodate frequent product changes without compromising quality or throughput. TNA’s approach — combining mechanical design with software-driven control — reflects this shift toward holistic, data-enabled production.

TNA Solutions will be exhibiting its full range of equipment and line solutions throughout the three-day event, supported by technical and project management teams from across the region. The company positions itself as a complete solutions partner, offering modular, scalable systems designed to support both existing facilities and new installations.

Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 will run from 4–6 November at Dubai World Trade Centre.
