IFFA 2025: Automac UK set to exhibit in Frankfurt

Automac UK, the UK branch of the leading Italian packaging machinery manufacturer, Fabbri Group, have announced they will be exhibiting at IFFA, the world’s leading technology trade fair for meat and alternative proteins.
Hosted in Frankfurt on 3rd to 8th May, the event covers the entire market for processing, packaging and selling of meat and other protein produce.
IFFA offers manufacturers from all stages of the food production process – from ingredients and processes, to packaging and point-of-sale – a platform for innovation and networking.
With their extensive experience supplying the meat produce industry, Fabbri Group will be showcasing their innovations in food packaging machinery.
“We’re looking forward to attending this year’s IFFA event alongside our colleagues at Fabbri Group and especially excited to connect with other industry experts who, like us, are dedicated to efficient food packaging and processes,” says managing director of Automac UK, Michele Govoni.
With almost 900 exhibitors and over 50,000 attendees expected over the six-day event, IFFA 2025 will focus on themes including ‘creating value from data’, ‘sustainability in action’, ‘creating product variety’ and ‘reaching next level performance’.
‘Reaching next level performance’ is expected to be a particularly important theme this year due to a rising pressure on prices and labour shortages in the meat industry.
To deal with these pressures, suppliers have called for more efficient practices through increased automation and innovative technologies.
With their tray-sealing and stretch-wrapping machinery and films, Fabbri Group will showcase how their food packaging solutions can help achieve better performance in meat and protein processing.
“We hope to demonstrate to those in the meat and protein industry how our machines can automate production to improve efficiency and work processes. Our Magic, TopLidplus, Lari and FG04E tray-sealers and our Automac Ultra and Elixa SPC stretch-wrappers provide the ideal alternative to time-consuming hand-packaging or deliver high-speed and continuous production to industrial makers” says Michele.
“We will offer live demos of our machines combined with our stretch and lid films, among which compostable solutions and the new recyclable monomaterial PE-based film currently under development.”
Part of Fabbri Group, a leading provider of food packaging machinery for 75 years, Automac UK helps UK and Ireland meat producers, including farm shops and butchers, to protect their produce and improve efficiency in their food packaging processes.
As experts in food packaging machinery, Automac UK supplies a range of both semi-automatic and fully automatic tray-sealing and stretch-wrapping models which support several packaging formats, including seal-only, gas-flushing MAP, vacuum-gas MAP, and skin packaging.
Fabbri Group and its British branch, Automac UK, invite attendees to visit them at stand C80, Hall 12.1 (1st floor), during this year’s IFFA event to discover how their tray-sealer and stretch-wrapper machinery can enhance the packaging process for meat and protein produce.
