Gioteck releases new gaming headset
Video game accessory brand Gioteck released its latest gaming headset just before the World Cup, and ECN has been putting it to the test.
The limited edition, football themed HC2 Gaming Headset is exclusive to retailer GAME and is compatible with platforms including PlayStation5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The headset comes with five high-quality vinyls so that users can customise it to represent their team – England, Wales, Scotland, Brazil or a non-team design for those opting to stay neutral.
The HC2 features powerful 40mm audio drivers which provide crystal-clear audio for the most intensive gaming sessions and the in-line remote allows gamers to adjust audio and mute voice chat in an instant. The padded headband provides all day comfort and the boom mic included is fully detachable, allowing the headset to be used for movies and music as well as gaming.
ECN gave it a go and our reviewer said it was really comfortable to wear, and was really impressed by the sound quality and the fact that that it didn’t lose quality as the volume increased. However, he did comment that the microphone falls out easily and it would be good for the microphone to be adjustable.
