Simone Keijzer, CEO, Gearbox said Fruit Logistica is an excellent opportunity to talk to decision-makers who want to take a further step towards digitalisation. “They can learn about quality control with the help of AI and understand how easily this technology can be integrated into their existing processes,” Keijzer explained.
Don van Haeff, sales advisor, Light4Food noted as Fruit Logistica represents the entire production line, it allowed it to meet existing customers who are already working with its products.
“Others get to know us at the trade fair and find the right solutions for their company. We would like to return next year with a larger stand to better meet demand,” Van Haeff said.
Benedikt Mangold, CEO, BayWa Global Produce said it was wonderful to be at Fruit Logistica again with visitors from all over the world.
Mangold said: “We are very pleased with the response and the contacts we are able to cultivate here, in two respects: on the one hand, we make new contacts with new business partners here, and on the other hand it is also important for us to meet with the teams of our subsidiaries from all over the world here once a year. Everyone has Fruit Logistica firmly in their diary.”
Mitchel Bakker, manager, Ellips said the recently launched AI platform attracted a lot of attention.
“Together with our customers we are discussing how we can expand our collaboration, finalise projects and initiate new ones,” Bakker said. “Many producers and packaging companies are reaching the size where they want to automate their processes. That is why there is keen demand for new solutions at Fruit Logistica.“
“So many of the visitors and exhibitors we spoke to said it was a really great feeling to be back at Fruit Logistica and catch up with so many people from all over the world in one place,” said event director Kai Mangelberger. “For us, that’s a really pleasing result, and makes us even more determined to build on that success. Especially in challenging times like these, face-to-face meetings at Fruit Logistica are more important than ever. With this in mind, it is certainly good news that we will not be increasing stand rental prices in the coming year.”
