Sondre Sandvik, Maritime Robotics’ sales manager, was on hand at Autonomous Ship Expo 2024 (co-located with Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe) to tell Electric & Hybrid Marine Technology International about the company’s remote operation and control software, which is customizable for clients. The software can also be retrofitted to existing vessels. Sandvik went on to talk about future trends pointing toward reduced crew remote operation centers and potentially unmanned operations.
