EnOcean Alliance at AHR Expo 2024: Smart building solutions for greater energy savings and a better building environment
The AHR Expo will provide an essential platform for EnOcean Alliance and its members to showcase the latest technologies, knowledge and insights that are shaping the future of intelligent and sustainable buildings
EnOcean Alliance and its Members will have a major presence at the AHR Expo, taking place in Chicago from 22nd to 24th January 2024. The AHR Expo brings together manufacturers and suppliers of all sizes and specialties to share ideas and showcase the future of HVACR technology. It’s the industry’s best place for OEMs, engineers, contractors, facility operators, architects, educators, and other professionals to experience everything new in HVACR. EnOcean Alliance Members such as Magnum First, EnOcean and EnOcean Edge will be presenting their solutions at the EnOcean Alliance booth, number S6113.
Energy harvesting helps buildings play their part
With a focus on energy savings, reducing CO2, air quality and comfort, building and space monitoring and optimization, the show highlights the importance of managing the energy use of buildings to help meet global environmental and energy targets.
“Buildings represent 40% of global energy use, emphasizing the importance of using the latest technology to keep them efficient,” says Graham Martin, CEO and Chairman of the EnOcean Alliance.
“EnOcean Alliance and its members are making a major contribution with solutions that employ energy harvesting technology using movement, light or temperature differences as the energy sources for battery-free switches and self-powered wireless sensors. With this technology, buildings can be more efficient and much more cost-effective, playing a major part in reining in energy wastage and reducing carbon emissions.”
EnOcean wireless networks have been installed in more than 2,500,000 buildings worldwide – as such, it is the most widespread and most field-tested wireless building automation standard in the world.
Other member companies will also be presenting solutions at their own booths, including Delta Controls, Reliable Controls, Distech Controls, Spartan Peripheral Controls, KMC Controls, Functional Devices, Contemporary Controls, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls Inc./Titus, and BACNet Interest Group Europe.
A networking dinner for EnOcean Alliance members and invited guests will take place on Tuesday 23rd January. For more information and to book a place, please contact: marketa.sidlikova@enocean-alliance.org.
