E2e-assure grows customer base as sovereignty becomes a business driver

Demand for sovereign cyber security has driven growth at e2e-assure. The SOC-as-a-service provider has secured 18 new customers and several million pounds in additional revenue, alongside the appointment of Richard Groome as OT Sales Specialist to support regulated UK organisations.

SOC-as-a-service provider, e2e-assure, today reveals that demand for sovereign cyber security solutions has driven 18 new customers and several million in increased revenue. In order to continue to meet the specific needs of highly regulated UK organisations, e2e-assure has brought Richard Groome on board as OT Sales Specialist to lead business growth, particularly in the Operational Technology (OT) sphere.

Increasing geopolitical tensions and regulatory complexity, especially across critical national infrastructure (CNI) is driving demand for cyber security specialists who can support requirements for sovereignty and on-premise solutions. Richard brings a wealth of experience in building and leading sales growth in complex technology markets where security, resilience, and trust are critical. Richard has worked across industrial, automotive, and critical infrastructure organisations, helping them adopt technology that protects operations while enabling long-term business outcomes.

“OT security has become a board-level priority, and organisations need a partner they can truly trust,” said Richard, OT Sales Specialist at e2e-assure. “e2e-assure’s deep threat detection expertise and UK-sovereign SOC uniquely position it to protect critical operations, and I’m excited to help customers strengthen resilience, detect threats early, and secure the systems that keep the UK running.”

“Richard is particularly well-placed to help e2e-assure nurture our relationships with customers that are waking up to the need to secure their OT as well as IT environments”, said Rob Demain, CEO of e2e-assure, commenting on Richard’s appointment. “Many UK manufacturers and critical national infrastructure operators struggle to find a trusted partner that can operate at their pace, speak their language, and meet sovereign and regulator requirements. Richard’s experience will help bridge the gap between technical capability and commercial reality, ensuring customers see measurable value and long-term assurance.”

Richard’s hire will support the business through a number of strategic developments throughout 2026. Over the next 12 months, e2e-assure will be enhancing its ability to support OT security and looking at fixing the imbalance between adversaries’ and defenders’ ability to leverage AI, focusing especially on the challenges presented by highly regulated and on-prem technologies. Throughout this high growth period, customer delivery and satisfaction will remain a key priority to maintain its 95% customer retention rate and average 88+ NPS score.
