Dr.oetker’s The Good Baker launches new meat-free chicken style pizza

Dr. Oetker’s The Good Baker has launched a tasty new addition to its meat-free pizza range: “The Meat-Free Chicken Style”

Available at Morrisons and Sainsbury’s for an MRRP of £3.50, the new pizza combines its signature stone-baked crust with creamy mozzarella, marinated chicken-style pieces, peppers and red onions.

The vegetarian-friendly pizza is fully HFSS-compliant, a source of fibre and protein, and contains no added sugar*. It also comes in fully recyclable packaging; with the box itself being recycled, certified by FSC.

This new product announcement follows the brand’s successful launch, which consisted of a million-pound marketing plan that included national OOH activity, partnerships, digital support including influencers, experiential and in store activations.

The Meat-Free Chicken Style pizza joins the existing range, which is made up of mouth-watering varieties including the one for the veggie lover – Veggie Mix, and the vegan superstar – Spinach and Pumpkin Seeds.

Each stone-baked pizza includes long fermented delicious doughs made with wholegrain. These are stretched into thin & crispy bases, topped with various tasty ingredients including extra virgin olive oil and sea salt, then stone-baked to pizza perfection.

Paula Wyatt, head of marketing at The Good Baker, commented: “This new product launch is an exciting step in The Good Baker’s journey and we’re still just getting started.

“We’re confident that this new product launch will be hugely popular with consumers, bringing even more choice to those on a vegetarian diet, or looking to reduce their meat intake.”
