Domino unveils Dx1060i 100W CO² laser coder

Domino launches a powerful laser for beverage coding efficiency. The Dx1060i CO² laser coder enhances production by delivering sharp, durable codes on complex surfaces. It supports up to 90,000 bottles per hour, ensuring clarity without compromising speed or quality.

Domino Printing Sciences has introduced the Dx1060i CO² Laser Coder, a 100-watt system specifically designed for high-speed beverage production. This advanced laser coder addresses the need for clear, complex designs on challenging substrates such as plastics and glass, ensuring manufacturers maintain efficiency without sacrificing quality. Engineered for demanding environments, the Dx1060i provides precise, durable codes on a variety of packaging materials.

The Dx1060i tackles the complexity of modern coding requirements, including GS1-compliant 2D formats, by delivering consistent legibility at high speeds. With the capability to code up to 90,000 bottles per hour, it eliminates the trade-offs typically associated with lower power systems. This advancement ensures that speed and code clarity coexist, even on reflective or intricate surfaces.

Integration is seamless with over 50 beam delivery options and a 360º rotatable scanhead, allowing easy adaptation to existing production lines. The system connects effortlessly to back-end production and business systems, minimising integration delays. Additional services like the Domino Cloud Interface, Coding Automation, R-Series vision control, and SafeGuard support, including AR-enabled remote assistance, further reduce downtime and enhance operational insight.

Frauke Schroeder, Senior Product Manager – Laser at Domino, stated, “The Dx1060i gives our customers the power and flexibility they need to keep beverage production running efficiently. It supports evolving international standards, helps reduce waste, and is built to meet future regulatory requirements, including GS1 and 21CFR Part11 compliance.”

Beyond mainstream applications, the Dx1060i is versatile enough for niche uses such as serialisation and detailed markings on wine corks or decorative wood surfaces. Its chemical-free, energy-efficient design aligns with sustainability targets, maintaining high-quality output at speed.

This new addition to Domino’s x-Generation of laser coding solutions complements the existing range, offering enhanced power and performance for rigorous applications. For further details on the Dx1060i CO² Laser Coder, visit Domino’s website.
