Mediterranean foods supplier Dina Foods has expanded its flatbreads range to include Tannour flatbread, baked in an authentic stone oven for a light and delicate texture.

The versatile flatbread was launched in response to growing demand for quick and healthy meal-time solutions, says Dina Foods project manager Wilda Haddad. It can be served filled, or spread with a sauce or topping like a pizza base, or enjoyed with dips. It can also be presented as a meal accompaniment alongside curries or tagines, for example.

The bread boasts a number of health claims such as its a source of protein; low in sugar; suitable for vegetarians and has no added artificial colours or flavours. Dina Foods Tannour bread is also rich in vitamin D.

The Tannour bread has been launched in Morrisons initially before a wider rollout, and is available in a pack of four.

The product joins Dina Foods’ wide range of artisanal flatbreads which include a selection of pitta breads, classic Mediterranean flatbreads such the trademarked Paninette range, as well as a variety of Asian inspired breads.
