DalterFood expands with a new Parmesan packaging plant. The €1 million Parma facility enhances capacity and precision in cheese cutting and packaging, vital for export and foodservice sectors. Advanced systems ensure high standards and sustainability, supporting DalterFood’s competitive edge in international markets.

Italian dairy processor DalterFood Group has launched a state-of-the-art hard-cheese cutting and packaging plant in Parma, aimed at boosting capacity and precision in cheese portioning and packaging — crucial for export markets and foodservice channels. Operational since 2 February 2026, the facility on Via Emilio Lepido underwent a year-long renovation funded by a €1 million investment. The upgrade includes new packaging lines and modernised production areas, with additional lines set to commence in the coming months.

Focused on Italian hard cheeses, particularly Parmigiano Reggiano, the Parma plant addresses growing international demand for pre-portioned formats, where weight control and consistent packaging are essential. DalterFood highlights the plant’s advanced quality-control systems and sustainability initiatives, which are integral to maintaining high production standards and reducing environmental impact.
