CO-RO Joins Two Sides to promote sustainable soft drink packaging
The print and paper advocacy group, Two Sides, has announced its newest member CO-RO, a global leader in fruit concentrates, fruit-based drinks, and home-freeze ice lollies.
CO-RO is a Danish company with a rich heritage. Together with their local partners around the world, they deliver over 3.5 billion servings of high-quality fruit-based drinks and ice lollies every year through their brands Sunquick, Suntop, Suncola, and Sun Lolly.
CO-RO’s products are available in over 80 markets and a significant part of their packaging is paper based. By opting for paper-based packaging, CO-RO says it not only reduces its carbon footprint but also supports the recycling industry, as paper is one of the most recycled materials globally.
“We are delighted to become a member of Two Sides to help promote the environmental benefits of paper-based packaging”, says Kasper Herluf Østlund, VP global supply chain and transformation at CO-RO and continues: At CO-RO we believe that even the smallest efforts can make a difference to improve the health of our planet. We are very excited to join forces with Two Sides to engage and educate our consumers, and other stakeholders, about the sustainable benefits of paper-based packaging.”
“We’re pleased to welcome CO-RO on board as a member of Two Sides. Our partnership with them will help us communicate the great environmental story that paper-based packaging has to tell, reaching billions of consumers around the world. As a member of Two Sides, they also have access to the Love Paper campaign’s tools and marketing devices. This can be used on their paper-based packaging as an effective way to communicate to their customers on how sustainable paper-based products truly are. It’s always a pleasure to welcome new members on board and we look forward to working with CO-RO,” says Ian Bates, marketing and partnership director for Two Sides UK.
