CLIFF Electronics launches SMA and RP-SMA connectors

Cliff Electronics unveils advanced SMA and RP-SMA connectors. The new CP30260 range offers solderless female-to-female connectivity, designed for RF communication systems, telecom, and aerospace applications. With a frequency range up to 18 GHz and gold-plated finishes, these connectors ensure secure, low-loss connections for high-frequency environments.

Cliff Electronics has introduced the CP30260 range of SMA and RP-SMA FeedThrough connectors, enhancing their portfolio of solderless connectivity solutions. These female-to-female connectors cater to rapid assembly needs, eliminating the requirement for soldering when linking equipment to external signals. They are engineered with a standard impedance of 50 ohms and operate within a frequency range extending to 18 GHz, ensuring a secure, low-loss threaded connection ideal for RF communication systems, including Wi-Fi, LTE, and GPS, as well as telecom, broadcast, and aerospace applications.

The connectors are gold plated and equipped with a Teflon insulator, capable of functioning in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C. They are available in the industry-standard XLR shell or the compact DualSLIM frame, offering flexibility for equipment with limited panel space. Customers can choose from multiple frame and mounting options, including plastic, metal, or black metal, with plain, countersunk, or threaded mounting holes. Cliff Electronics can assemble the SMA and RP-SMA connectors into any of their FeedThrough frames upon request.

John Hall, Managing Director of Cliff Electronics, stated, “With the growth of high-frequency and RF-centric systems across many industries, there’s a clear demand for compact, high-performance SMA connectors that are easy to install and integrate. The CP30260 range is our response—offering engineers a rugged, solderless feedthrough solution that fits into standard XLR panel cutouts.”

Cliff Electronics continues to expand its FeedThrough connector offerings, now including analogue, digital, and optical connectivity in various formats such as BNC, DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB, among others. As a UK manufacturer, Cliff Electronics can swiftly meet both standard and custom design needs, producing a wide array of connectors and accessories, including audio, optical, and power solutions.

Products from Cliff Electronics are available directly or through major distributors across the UK and Europe. For further information, contact Cliff Electronics or visit their official website.
