Fugro will investigate unexploded ordnance along German offshore grid routes. Great Wall Motor plans renewed vehicle assembly operations in Bulgaria. The electric Ora 5 is scheduled for semi-knocked-down production from early 2027, at a partner factory with planned capacity of 50,000 vehicles per year. Its previous Bulgarian production venture opened in 2012.

Valmet has agreed to acquire Tieto’s specialist manufacturing software business. The TIPS manufacturing execution and Order-to-Cash applications are used at around 300 pulp and paper sites. Completion is expected in the second quarter of 2027, subject to closing conditions.

SUSS will consolidate semiconductor equipment manufacturing across two international sites. Mask aligner production is moving towards Zhubei in Taiwan, while module manufacturing will be concentrated at Sternenfels in Germany, ending production activities at Garching.
