Borough Broth has announced that its organic slow-cooked bone broth will be available in 311 Sainsbury’s stores across the country starting on 1 January.

The business says the expansion marks a significant milestone in Borough Broth’s mission to provide health-conscious consumers with convenient, nourishing options that uphold the highest standards in organic and ethical food production. The brand’s retail success has been both organic and steady, with consistent growth since its inception in 2017. Borough Broth’s strong performance has been further recognised by Ocado, where founder Ros Heathcote serves as a Champion for the Ocado Roots programme, mentoring other small brands on their journey to retail success.

Borough Broth manufactures all its products in its west London kitchen, where the company has heavily invested in expanding production capacity to meet the increasing demand from a growing following of conscious consumers. The Sainsbury’s launch comes at an opportune moment, just as Borough Broth cements its position as a household name in the UK.

“Partnering with Sainsbury’s is a fantastic step for us as we continue our journey to make premium, organic bone broth widely accessible,” said Ros Heathcote, founder and managing director of Borough Broth. “Our customers value the quality and transparency of our products, and we’re thrilled to bring our broths to Sainsbury’s shelves, giving more people the chance to experience the benefits of bone broth in their everyday cooking.”

The Borough Broth range, including customer favourites like Organic Chicken Bone Broth and Organic Beef Bone Broth, has long been celebrated for its commitment to traditional cooking methods, ethical sourcing, and support of British farmers. Borough Broth is a certified B Corporation, reflecting the brand’s dedication to sustainable practices, fair wages, and full transparency.
