Angel Delight, a dessert brand owned by Premier Foods, is introducing a new jelly line that draws inspiration from the popular bubble tea.

Three varieties of Angel Delight Bubble Jelly will be offered: Lemonade Jelly with Strawberry Boba (RSP £2.85 – 4 pots per pack), Strawberry Jelly with Strawberry Boba, and Mango Jelly with Passionfruit Boba. In order to draw in new customers, the innovation seeks to “inject new energy into the jelly category.”

Premier Foods’ brand director for desserts, Rob Watson, said: “Bubble tea isn’t just a drink – it’s a cultural moment. With Angel Delight Bubble Jelly, we’ve captured the flavour and fun of the famous popping boba and created a dessert that’s as bold and bubbly as it is delicious. The new dessert is set to surprise shoppers and help retailers ride the wave of this unstoppable trend.”
