Analog Devices has introduced a range of developer-focused solutions designed to unify cross-device and cross-market hardware, software, and services. These offerings are aimed at accelerating innovation for the Intelligent Edge, with an emphasis on improving both speed and security.

At the heart of this launch is CodeFusion Studio, a new embedded software development platform based on Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code. This marks ADI’s first fully integrated software and security solution suite, offering a modern integrated development environment (IDE) and command-line interface. CodeFusion Studio incorporates open-source configuration and profiling tools to streamline development on heterogeneous processors, driving efficiencies in the process.

CodeFusion Studio is now available for download via ADI’s newly launched Developer Portal. This portal serves as a comprehensive resource hub, providing extensive documentation, support, partnerships, and opportunities for community engagement. The platform also supports ADI Assure, a trusted security architecture that offers a flexible, straightforward approach to implementing security in Intelligent Edge devices.

Together, CodeFusion Studio, ADI Assure, and the Developer Portal equip customers with the necessary tools and resources to bring products to market faster, with enhanced security and reliability. By reducing deployment times, customers can maximise the benefits of the Intelligent Edge, leading to improved decision-making, better customer experiences, deeper insights, and overall business growth.

“The complexity of embedded development at the edge is growing, demanding expertise in hardware, software, and security simultaneously,” said Gregory Bryant, President of Global Business Units at ADI. “We believe we are uniquely positioned to provide deep expertise in integration and vertical technologies across diverse markets, making innovation faster, easier and more cost-effective. That’s why we are investing heavily in developing and launching these solutions, with plans to continue, enabling our customers to confidently innovate for the Intelligent Edge.”
