Altus Demonstrates the Latest Equipment Trends at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Exhibition
Stand H120
Altus Group, a leading distributor of capital equipment for electronics assembly, will be exhibiting at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics exhibition in Farnborough from 8-10 February 2022 where they will demonstrate some of the latest technical trends on the market including 3D AOI and laser marking equipment.
“Altus will demonstrate the benefits of the Alpha HS+ 3D AOI,” said Joe Booth, Chief Executive Officer at Altus. “Visitors can see first-hand how the system has the ability to inspect and provide quantitative measurement of components and extended inspection coverage for high height inspection helping to deliver the most accurate AOI inspection on the market.
“Also in the spotlight will be YJ Link YLM Laser Marking Cell, the first time that the system has been available to view at a show in Europe. The system integrates many features including fiducial recognition and internal flipper to achieve a 20% cost saving. There is also a keymark camera helping to prevent the wrong PCB coming in and barcode verification and grading functionality as a key method to ensure consistent quality of marking performance. Importantly, the Y Series has a fast cycle time helping manufacturers to meet high production targets. We are sure it will be of great interest at the show.
“With a record number of customers installing equipment from Altus in 2021, we hope the exhibition will be the perfect opportunity to present out latest equipment, develop new relationships, and continue to build on the growth of the company in to 2022.”
Altus will also have an Essemtec Fox ‘All-in-one’ SMT Assembly system and an Asscon Vapour Phase system on the stand where members of the Altus team will demonstrate why they are popular choices in today’s electronics manufacturing industry.
